HALAL CERTIFICATION

Halal Certificate is a written fatwa from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) stating the halal status of a product in accordance with Islamic law.

This Halal Certificate is a requirement for obtaining permission to display a HALAL LABEL on product packaging from the relevant government agency.

According to Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Guarantee, it mandates that products circulating in Indonesia must be guaranteed halal. Therefore, the Halal Product Guarantee Agency has the duty and function to ensure the halal status of products that enter, circulate, and are traded.
