The new Second Home Golden Visa is available for individuals looking to purchase a second home and reside in Indonesia for 5-10 years, and permits you to apply for your family members to join you.

  • IDR 35,000,000 – 60 business days

 

Document Requirements

  • Passport valid for 6 months.
  • Recent passport-style color photo (digital format).
  • Proof of living expenses of at least US$5000 (five thousand American dollars) or equivalent.

 

With this visa you CAN

  • Carry out business and investment activity in Indonesia.
  • Bring eligible members of your family.
  • Carry out work – related activities.

 

With this visa, you CAN NOT

  • Work or be employed by an Indonesian company.

 

With this visa, you MUST

  • Report on the compliance of relevant financial commitments within 90 days of arrival.
  • Maintain sufficient funds during your stay, and follow all visa conditions and local laws.

 

Additional Requirements FOR Individual Investors Establishing a Company (E28B):

  • Proof of Company Ownership: Shared ownership in companies outside Indonesia, confirmed by a financial audit from an internationally recognized public accounting firm.
  • Proof of Turnover/Sales: Documented in a financial audit from an international public accounting firm.
  • Commitment Statement: To establish a company in Indonesia with a minimum investment of:
    • 5-year visa: US$ 25,000,000.
    • 10-year visa: US$ 50,000,000.
    • Must be fulfilled within 90 days of visa issuance.

 

Additional Requirements FOR Individual Investors Not Establishing a Company (E28C):

  • Commitment Statement to purchase one of the following:
  • 5 year visa:
    • Indonesian Government bonds: Minimum US$350,000.
    • Shares in Indonesian publicly listed companies: Minimum US$350,000.
    • Mutual funds in Indonesian publicly listed companies: Minimum US$350,000.
  • 10 year visa:
    • Indonesian Government bonds: Minimum US$700,000.
    • Shares in Indonesian publicly listed companies: Minimum US$700,000.
    • Mutual funds in Indonesian publicly listed companies: Minimum US$700,000.
    • Flats or apartments: Minimum US$1,000,000.

 

Additional Requirements FOR Directors or Commissioners Establishing a Company in Indonesia (E28D)

  • Commitment Statement to establish a company in Indonesia with a minimum investment of:
    • 5-year visa: US$25,000,000.
    • 10-year visa: US$50,000,000.
  • Must be fulfilled within 90 days of visa issuance.
  • Proof of Turnover/Sales minimum US$ 100.000 : Documented in financial audit reports from international public accounting firms.
