Di Kyiv, ibukota Ukraina, Widodo bertemu dengan Presiden Ukraina Volodymyr Zelensky. Jokowi dan Zelensky membahas perang, pangan, dan agenda G20.

Sebelumnya, Menteri Luar Negeri Ukraina Dmitro Kuleba dan Menteri Luar Negeri Indonesia Retno Marsudi sepakat menghapus persyaratan visa untuk kunjungan jangka pendek antara kedua negara. Upacara penandatanganan berlangsung di Kementerian Luar Negeri Ukraina pada Rabu, 29 Juni.

Dalam pernyataan Kementerian Luar Negeri Ukraina, perjanjian tersebut akan memungkinkan warga negara Ukraina melakukan perjalanan bebas visa hingga 30 hari selama setiap kunjungan ke Indonesia. Bagi WNI yang tiba di Ukraina, diperbolehkan tinggal maksimal 30 hari dalam jangka waktu 60 hari.
